I have been a South Florida resident since 2005, an equestrian since 2007, and an animal lover since 1996 (as soon as I was born). I have had a wide variety of pets my whole life including dogs, cats, a horse, turtles, hamsters, you name it!
Animals have always been a big part of my life, and when I picked up my first camera at 15, I furthered my passion by turning my hobby into a lifestyle. I love looking back at photos of my first dog, my first pony ride, and my first horse show. Those are memories that I will hold in my heart forever. Katy is really amazing. This photo still takes my breath away, and I will always be grateful for the emergency pre-euthanization photo shoot she did so that my son could have these memories with his first pony. Windy had numerous obvious signs of her illness during the shoot, and Katy photoshopped them all out, so that her photos are forever the pony we loved so much, and not a painful reminder of what she went through. There’s no adequate way to express how thankful we are.
